Our Story

A home is where stability begins.

Asher's Place Community Homes was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves a safe place to call home, and the right support at the right moment can change the course of a life. What began as a single transitional residence has grown into a network of supportive homes and community programs serving individuals, families, and seniors across the region.

We work alongside — never above — the people we serve. Our case managers, housing coordinators, and volunteers walk with residents through every stage of their journey, from the first set of keys to long-term independence.

Compassion

Every interaction begins with dignity and respect.

Safety

Stable housing is the foundation everything else is built on.

Community

We believe people heal and grow in connection with others.

Dignity

Every resident is treated as the expert in their own life.

Success Stories

Real journeys, told in residents' own words.

To protect the privacy of the people we serve, names have been changed and photography withheld — the stories are entirely their own.

Asher's Place didn't just give me a roof. My case manager helped me get my ID replaced, apply for jobs, and believe I could hold down a lease again. Eighteen months later, I have my own apartment and my daughter has her own room.

Maria, 34Bridge to Independence, Class of 2024
After my wife passed, I couldn't keep up with the house alone. The Senior Independence Residence gave me my own space, but I'm never really alone here — someone checks in, and there's always someone to share a coffee with.

Daniel, 71Senior Independence Residences
We moved four times in two years before we found Family Roots. My kids finally finished a school year at the same school. That stability changed everything for them — and for me.
